(Lyricist/song-writer/producer/rapper)
Ariah James has had a precocious way with words from an early age so it only seemed a matter of time before her entrance into the music arena. From as early as 7 years old Ariah began rapping and writing poetry. Always a keen listener of music any free time she had she could be found in a studio or listening to music. Her music inspirations are Lauryn Hill Tupac Shakur and Jay-z to name but a few.
During her pre-teen years Ariah's first taste of rapping came in the form of doing some rapping and studio work with a local producer and bassist and this was Ariah's first duet.
At age 17 she began working with Hybrid Arts and was rewarded with a certificate for music production and digital imagery. This was where she began making beats for local artists and produced her own demo. Ariah then made her first live PA and launched the hybrid arts studio in Leamington. She free styled alongside a DJ and also sang at the launch attended by channel 4 and local newspapers, which covered the event. She also presented and created the theme tune for 3a's government nationwide entry to work initiative. Ariah has also performed in gigs in Coventry and Leamington.
She can often make up songs on the spot whilst free styling to a beat so never needs to write her raps down. She is self-taught and can also produce and write poetry and lyrics for other artists. Ariah describes her sound as unique and makes a point of making her music personal and heartfelt. She makes an effort to steer clear of the guns and bling and addresses issues she feels are often overlooked. Be sure to check out this girl in the future because the sky's the limit.
Singer/Producer/Engineer/Musician
Natalie Bek's destiny towards music was clearly apparent from an early age. A keen listener and talented musician Natalie was able to transpose piano arrangements by ear. Natalie's first music tastes ranged from the Motown sound to queen plus many more.
Natalie lived and breathed music through her early teen years. It was whilst working at a local Wolverhampton music studio that Natalie got her first taste of music making. She was there for her work experience and this started the story for Natalie's life in the music industry.
Natalie later enjoyed a successful stint whilst running a record label also which provided her with all the knowledge she would ever need to later create her own label and became a respected songwriter and producer whilst being completely self taught.
Natalie counts her mentors as Soul Mekanik's Danny Spencer and Kelvin Andrews. Natalie has attended Manchester Midi School where she completed a foundation degree in Music Production and Construction/commercial engineering.
Natalie also had another hidden talent that was her ability to sing. She was the lead singer in a band for 5 years. Due to creative differences the band parted ways and she became a producer.
Her vocals provide that timeless quality so often missed in today's music.
